Straight answers

How accurate is it?

It depends on the handwriting, and we will not put a number on your page that we have not measured on our own test set. What we promise instead: anything we cannot read is marked [illegible] or [unclear: word?], and you can check every line against the scan before you use it.

What happens to my file?

It is deleted automatically after the time shown under the upload box. It is never used to train AI, and we never write the text of your document into a log.

Can I use it for court?

The Legal / Verbatim profile copies the page word for word and the searchable PDF is built to court e-filing specs — check it before filing. We are not a court service and we do not certify or authenticate anything.

Which languages work?

Reading works by writing system, so most languages in a supported script work today. The languages page says plainly which ones we have tested and which are still in beta.

What does it cost?

Your first pages each day are free without an account. Premium is about the price of a cup of tea a month, and the yearly plan costs less again. Prices are shown in your own currency on the pricing page.

My handwriting is messy. Will it work?

Often yes, and where it does not, you will see exactly where: the doubtful words are marked and shown next to the scan, so you fix three words instead of typing three pages.
